My name is Crystal Shipos, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington state.  I received my Bachelor of Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010 and a

Masters from Capella University in 2017.  I also have a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I draw from a multitude of different philosophies though it is my belief that the therapeutic relationship is where the change happens. I use techniques such as Narrative therapy along with aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to facilitate your growth and change. Though I work with people from all walks of life, I have a particular passion for serving LGBTQ and

BIPOC communities. As a member of both communities it is my pleasure to help people who live at the intersection of multiple identities find their joy.

I provide services for all ages and stages of people’s lives; children, adolescents, and adults. With children my energy tends to be playful which is a good fit for children from 6 years and up. I do have a specialty for children 9 years old and up with specialization in adolescents and young adults. My personal philosophy is that every individual has their own unique path through their world, and I would like to walk with them through their journey.  I will create a safe place to be so that you have the energy and insight to continue your path.
