My name is Karen Coppock and I am a Mental Health Counselor Associate licensed by the state of Washington

(MC61650299). I am a doctoral student in clinical psychology at Antioch University, currently under the supervision of Elliot Grossman, LICSW. My clinical training spans diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, across partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings.

My experience encompasses supporting clients with complex mental health challenges, including treatment-resistant psychosis, mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD, suicidal ideation, gender dysphoria, relational conflicts, occupational stress, and more. I am passionate about providing care that is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based.

I have had the privilege of working in various clinical settings, including Behavioral Health Resources in Olympia, WA; the Washington Department of Health Youth Behavioral Response Team in Seattle, WA; the Antioch University Community Counseling and Psychology Clinic in Seattle, WA; Madigan Army Medical Center on Joint-Base Lewis-McChord, WA; and Northwest Family Psychology on Bainbridge Island.

I am deeply committed to fostering a therapeutic relationship that places humanity and connection at the center of our work together. Grounded in a relational psychodynamic framework and enriched by an anti-oppression and social justice lens, my approach is tailored to honor your unique experiences, needs, and goals. I believe in creating a safe, compassionate space to explore the interplay between your past and present relationships and how they shape your emotional life and behaviors.

I provide individual therapy and couples therapy for a range of mental health concerns. Trained and supervised by licensed clinicians, I ensure that my interventions adhere to ethical and professional standards. I integrate techniques from evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) when they align with and enhance the relational focus of our work.

If you're seeking a therapist who values relational depth, individuality, and a commitment to equity, I invite you to connect. Together, we can work toward meaningful growth and healing.
