Katlin Kellow, MA, LMHCA
(She/her/hers)
My name is Katlin Kellow, and I am a Mental Health Counselor Associate licensed by the State of Washington (MC61339119). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology and went on to graduate with a Master of Arts in Counseling from City University of Seattle in 2023. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate.
My counseling philosophy is based on understanding the specific care and support needed by individuals who have undergone difficult life experiences. I work collaboratively with clients to identify and address their individual needs and goals.
My personal and professional background includes over a decade of working with diverse populations, including OBGYN and Oncology care. This work has led me to recognize the importance of both acknowledging the physical and mental impacts of trauma, and of creating a safe and secure environment for clients, in which they can be empowered to take an active role in their healing. Whether they have experienced trauma or other challenges, I believe it is important to honor their individual experiences, and I find both comfort and fulfillment in supporting others on their paths as they grow and thrive.
I aim to live by my inner values of living with humility and honesty, as well as being present and intentional in every interaction. I truly believe that our ability to heal is connected to, and reliant upon, the relationships we build within ourselves and with the world around us. While difficult and painful experiences may be part of our story, they do not have to be the script by which we live.
